Aint God Good!
I am reminded of a man back years ago in a church that my husband and I were on staff at always saying "Ain't God Good". He was so passionate about this he even displayed this saying on his truck. He was always full of thankfulness for what God was doing in and through our church. Today as I climbed in my jeep after the last celebration of the weekend I looked up (thank God for beautiful Ohio weather so the top can be off the jeep) and all I could say is Ain't God Good. I found myself smiling so big today my face actually hurts. I have to be one of the most blessed worship pastors on the planet not only to have one of our bands lead worship this weekend but to actually have 2 of our bands leading in the same weekend and leading with excellence. I looked out across the crowd of people in all 3 celebrations and stood amazed at how good God is to our church. I know I have said it before and I will say it over and over again we are a blessed people to have what we have, to have a Savior that I know looks down from heaven and smiles week in and week out all over our church. We just ended a 5 week series entitled "Heroes" Ordinary People Living Extraordinary Lives. We heard 5 amazing messages from 2 amazing pastors that challenged us to be the Hero in our own story of life. I pray everyone came out of this series changed. About 3 years ago I had to be the Hero in my own story of life, and I have forever been changed because of that time, and because of that I was very passionate about this series and seeing lives changed. I cannot thank God enough for the blessing that is mine to be "living the dream" Thank you God for making dreams come true and for the amazing people that surround my life everyday. To You and You alone do I give my praise. Be a Hero for Jesus, Be a Hero for your spouse, Be a Hero for your kids, Be a Hero for your church. You will never regret it....

Sharla, it is so awesome to see hat life in Ohio is great for you guys!! As I got news about Kyle today, it brought me back to our conversation we had when he disappeared. It just so happened that on Tuesday LifeChurch.TV where we attend was fasting in prayer of miracles in our lives. It sounds crazy but on and off I would pray that God would allow for the miracle of Kyle to be found. As sad as it is to find him not with us, God is still GOOD because Kyle has been with the Lord this whole time. I miss seeing and talking with you. David is going to be starting a unit in Johnson County with a non-profit called Cross Trail Outfitters/Christian outdoor camp for boys. All I can say it "Aint God Good!!". Hey check out www.oneprayer.com this is totally awesome what God is doing around the world!! Love you guys and our hearts are breaking/grieving right there with yall!!
