Jeremiah 29:11

Over the last 1 1/2 years I have stopped to look hard at one of my favorite scriptures and then I look up and say to God but I don't get it. Why do bad things happen to good people. What I mean by that at this time in life is this. Tomorrow at 11am a precious famlily that I have been friends with for many years will lay their 31 year old niece to rest after a year and half long battle with brain cancer. Leaving behind 3 little girls the youngest just 16 months old born premature due to her moms cancer. The family is in turmoil. The husband of this lady has been nothing but evil and has abandoned his family at the worst time of life. So I stop and look at Jer 29:11 and cling to every word "For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future." I have to dig deep and remember He says "His ways are not our ways" and I pray to see God's Glory revealed through this tragedy. Please pray for my friend Sally's family that they will know God's Grace like never before and be able to claim Jer. 29:11.
