Persecuted = Blessed

I wanted to re post (is that even a word) a post I made 2 weeks ago that I know I desperately need for myself but I think anyone in ministry needs to remember that there will be some people that will not trust us, there will be some people that will not follow us, there will be some people that will set out to destroy us, there will be some people that think they know more about ministry than we that have ministered for years and there will be some people that will lie and say all manner of evil against us and as crazy as it sounds we should rejoice in that - of course lets be sure we line up our ministries with the Word before we jump on the band wagon of persecution and if we are in alignment with God's word then we with a loud voice can proclaim "We are BLESSED when we are persecuted and when men say all manner of evil against us falsely."

God says, BE HAPPY ABOUT IT....we will do that God....God says, BE VERY GLAD...we will do that as well....And the reward part - well thanks be to God that we will have something to lay at Your feet someday....

"God blesses you when you are mocked and persecuted and lied about because you are my followers. Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted, too. "You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it useful again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. You are the light of the world – like a city on a mountain, glowing in the night for all to see. Don't hide your light under a basket! Instead, put it on a stand and let it shine for all. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

'I will not fear the tens of thousands drawn up against me on every side" Ps 3:6

Bring it on satan we are FUELED to be BLESSED!
