The dictionary says that "bliss" is extreme happiness - I have used this word, heard this word, read this word, but never actually looked up the meaning...but when I woke up this morning before my feet touched the ground that was the feeling that came over me and the word that popped in my head and heart was "bliss"
So...I had to look it up and wow all I could do is smile (extreme happiness) that's an amazing feeling. Somedays I wake up happy somedays not so happy but today was an extreme happy morning. I felt so blessed and overwhelmed to be back with my church family and my band yesterday after being on vacation last week (which btw was amazing) I looked out over the crowd in both celebrations and as I watched people love on the King I just felt a sense of awe a sense of feeling so blessed. We (worship band, tech team and pastor John) had a long week last week moving and installing new sound equipment and trying to dial it in and get use to the very obvious changes and I have been in bliss watching our team work extremely hard to get done what needed to be done to ready us for worship.
Church we are so blessed to be surrounded with amazing worship leaders, amazing bands, amazing tech teams, and most of all amazing pastors. I pray that none of us ever ever take any of these precious people for granted.
If you haven't felt "bliss" in a while get on your knees and talk to God about it, start with a heart of thanksgiving - that's where a heart of blissfulness will be found. Find your BLISS today, if you can't find any call me I'll share some of mine! Til we meet again - sharla
