A Shout Out!

There comes a time in every life when we get to see God through other people in ways we never expect. This week I have seen the hand of God through watching the birth of my grandson, through watching my kid go through that whole process of bringing a life into this world...but...that's not what this shout out is all about, this shout out is for the amazing nursing staff at McCullough-Hyde Hospital right here in O-Town.

The whole staff has been amazing, but the 2 I want to shout out to is to Katy, who was our delivery nurse she was spectacular the care and professionalism she brought to my Kim and baby KC was just amazing to watch. And then there's Melissa, who took such great care of our lil guy while he was in the nursery hooked up to an IV and a couple of other monitors. Watching this nurse from day one care for my daughter and then my grandson was awesome. I truly watched God move through these 2 women, the care, the compassion, the love, the joy, and even the tears...how could we ask for more!

I can't begine to imagine having the responsibility they have on them, its overwhelming. I am thankful today as my grandbaby is finally free from all wires and finally in the room with his mommy and daddy well and his gaga. I feel so very blessed to have met the people I have this week. I would have never dreamed this experience could have been this amazing and I know it could have been totally different had different people been in place, but oh God had just the right people in just the right place at just the right time - FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS! So thank you OB nurses you all are amazing women....you'll never be forgotten!
