Invade Us Lord!

“I want to see the glory of God invade this generation.” – Leonard Ravenhill

Lord I have heard of your great deeds, of Your fame, of revival, of people running to meet you, of people of anointing walking past them and them coming under conviction and repentance, of people being drawn to church and meetings, of people encountering You, of nations being transformed by the power of Your Spirit…Lord I have heard and I hunger for that for my church, for my city, for my state, and for the very nation I live in.

It’s personal God – my family, my church, my friends, and yes ME LORD, we all need to experience an all out GOD ENCOUNTER with YOU.

Lord Come Reveal Yourself to our generation – that we might rise and proclaim the greatness of Your ways, that we may live with no compromise, making You real to those around us. Let it sweep through our nation like a raging floor, like a wild fire.

Let us arise and be who You have destined us to be. Let us BE Your body here on earth, Your ambassadors, Your children. Let the family resemblance grow and may it be that when people see us and know us that they are draw to You. Let us arise and pray, really pray, really seek Your face. Lord we have heard of Your fame and we have heard of revival and we have heard and read that they begin with prayer but yet are we content to pray lightly, pay lightly? Come stir us.

Be the spark that lights the fire that boils the water. Isaiah 64:2

This is the day. This generation. This time. Now. Come.

Let us be a generation that fixes our eyes upon You Jesus – that we might persevere and endure and surrender and count the cost and pay the cost and receive the joy and reward. Let us desire to be holy and to see Your face and be Your friend. Let us be bold in believing Your promises and entering Your presence to find grace and help at our every need. Let us find hope and love and satisfaction in You, not the world. Come Lord, come. Renew in us passion for Your name and first love again.

LORD, I have heard of your fame;
I stand in awe of your deeds, O LORD.
Renew them in our day,
in our time make them known;
in wrath remember mercy.

Habakkuk 3:2
