Truth or Not!

If you don't intend to do something, don't say you will. Make sure the words that come out of your mouth are the truth.

Read this quote on twitter today and in a nut shell it explains what my heart is feeling these days. I'm exhausted with people not "keeping their word" whatever happened to the old saying "say what you mean and mean what you say" does anyone actually keep their word these days?

I've seen so much betrayal in my life it's a wonder I trust anyone. It doesn't matter if there Christians, non Christian, worldly, Godly etc from my experience people just break their word.

I don't know if it's just that we say things that are off the cuff and don't take the time to think before we speak or if we mindlessly just say things that we think will get us the biggest cuddos at that moment. All I know is as a person a mom a gaga a friend a Christ follower and a pastor I'm committed to keeping my word - if it leaves my lips you can count on it!
