Whose Side Am I On!

Studying a whole new perspective on the story of Joshua, totally eye opening! 

Joshua was instructed by God to capture the city of Jericho despite the city being surrounded by massive walls. As Joshua was formulating the battle plan he is suddenly confronted by a man with a drawn sword (the commander of the army of The Lord) Joshua asked this man, "are you for us or for our enemies" Joshua 5:13 

I am sure Joshua was feeling overwhelmed but Imagine if Joshua would have asked himself "whose side am I on?" When we're faced with a situation out of our control will our response reflect that we are ON Gods side or not? If we ground ourselves in that reality we can face any circumstance out of our control without acting out of control. 

We can't always fix our circumstances but we CAN FIX our minds on God! 

Asking myself this today, "whose side am I on?" Fixing my eyes on Him no matter what He's asking me to do!!!
