STAND UP!

For so long now, in fact for many years, this has been my motto STAND UP! Stand up for what I believe in - Stand up for Righteousness - Stand Up for my King - Stand Up for my God Given Right to worship HIM with reckless abandonment, dying totally to myself and submitting to HIM and Him alone. But never in all the years I have been alive or in all the years that I have led worship have I been more compelled, more moved, more shaken, more determined than I am today to "STAND UP" and quit allowing the voice of the gripers and complainers and those that want us to believe that we are nothing, and the skeptics that say this isn't true worship and the voice of the people that could care less about loving the King stop me from STANDING UP! stop me from doing what I know I should be doing in worship to my God - my God given, God breathed, God anointed Right, to dance before the Lord with all my might just like David danced before the King with all of his might. There is a lost and dying world out there that need to know that we are created to worship the King it is the very reason we exist. I can't say thank you enough to David, Phillip, Paul and Dan of Remedy Drive, that reminded me today that it is (all or nothing) when we worship our King. This song reflects the idea that our failures and brokenness seem to have a voice that tells us we're nothing, incapable and worthless. Hopefully the melody will motivate listeners to stand up to such nonsense, realize our worth, and live like we can overcome …because we can. We don't have to remain fallen; we don't have to remain broken - our failures can't hold us down.


Nothing can hold us down in our worship to the King. He wants us just as we are in our brokenness, in our sin sick lives, in our incapability's, in our worthlessness, and HE will take us and make us whole and make us into what He wants us to be. If we were only suppose to come to HIM in perfection why would He have sent HIS Son to die for us. I pray today that we all were challenged to bring our brokenness and our nothingness and let HIM make something beautiful out of our lives....STAND UP people HE IS WORTHY OF OUR HIGHEST PRAISE - anything less than that isn't giving God what HE ALONE DESERVES! And the only person stopping you from STANDING UP is "you" my friends if you missed Jesus at Cobblestone today I challenge you to find out why? because HE WAS THERE - and He will be waiting on us once again next week because it is a promise in His word - HE INHABITS THE PRAISES OF HIS PEOPLE....Jesus it is all for You and only for you will I STAND UP!
