Home At Last!

Finally home from the 100+ degrees in Texas to the 75 degrees in Oxford woe wee! What an amazing vacation God blessed me with. My kids are amazing. My friend Shannon opened her home to me and the kids for 2 weeks (God you amaze me at how YOU love me through others) got to catch up with friends I haven't seen in almost 4 years and some I haven't seen in 14. Got to see Shamu up close at Sea World and got to touch and feed dolphins....Road a roller coaster that scared me to death and I was shaking so bad when the ride was over I think I scared my kids, and I would ride it again just for them. Went to The Alamo and saw a street preacher literally standing in front of the Alamo screaming and yelling at people. He made me so angry I wanted to tackle him and shut him up and tell him how he was hurting the whole cause of Christ. But I wasn't sure if he was crazy or not cause anyone in their right mind would never stand in 106 degrees screaming about burning in hell, so I figured God had it covered and didn't need me to avenge HIM. I have driven almost 5000 miles in the month of June from Ohio to Chicago back to Ohio to Texas and I'm still in one piece. Thanking God for allowing me a great life and now I anticipate catching up with my husband and my band, my friends, and our staff - my fellow pastors, and the best will be worshipping with all of you (my church family) in just 5 more days....Expecting great things to happen this week and thanking God for everyone that stood in the gap for me so I could have some time off. Thanks Con Brio for leading worship I know you were a blessing. I will see you all this Sunday morning come ready!

"I will enter His gates with thanksgiving in my heart, I will enter His courts with praise. I will say this is the day that the Lord has made I will rejoice for He has made me glad"
