From Generation To Generation!

Today was an awesome day! I was able to worship from the audience as our younger generation band CON BRIO led us in worship. My co-worship leader Aaron led the way with just an awesome set. As a worship pastor you live for days like today when you watch the younger generation of worship leaders emerge like they've been at this for years. Aaron led one of my favorite songs today "Come Away" I was so lost in worship I was glad I didn't have anywhere I had to be or anything I had to do so I could just soak up God today and what He was doing through these young adults.

I was proud of Aaron and the boys they played with excellence as they usually do...and wow, let's talk about the girls today, Nina and Andrea they both knocked their songs, "We Cry Out", "Rooftops", and "Rain Down" out of the park. I know Andrea wasn't feeling well but she sang like an angel. I also want to give a great big shout out to all the tech team and set up team that usually run the Sunday Night Service called "The Third" you guys were all amazing to watch and Dave, great job on announcements. Andrew, my lil brother. your message on "Crazy Love" was straight from Heaven above. I could listen to you speak for hours.

Anyways. I said all that to say this: What a wonderful day watching the body of Christ worship together as the younger generation led the way. From start to finish today was like a taste of heaven. Thank you God for the talented gifted and amazing young adults you have put in my life and the life of Cobblestone, we are so very blessed (beyond measure).
