Am I Deeply In Love With Jesus?

I love it when I buy a new cd and the reason (song, artist, etc) I actually by the cd for changes - almost always. I recently purchased Michael W. Smith's new cd "A New Hallelujah" which by the way won song of the year at the Dove Awards. But I found myself drawn to one particular song - DEEP IN LOVE WITH YOU - and have listened it over and over, asking myself this question "Am I deeply in love with Jesus, with my Abba Father?" When you look at the words to this song and even more so when we sing these words are we living up to what they say....

AM I RUINED BY HIS GRACE?
AM I HUMBLED AND AMAZED?
IS THERE REALLY A DEEP DESIRE BURNING LIKE A FIRE TO KNOW JESUS AS MY CLOSEST FRIEND?
DOES MY HEART REALLY BEAT FOR HIM?

So asking myself these questions, I have to really take a look into my soul and see what's lingering there that may cause me to have to answer any of these questions with a no....or with a not really....or with a maybe....I want to shout YES to all these questions. I want to sing this song and every word out of my mouth be actually coming from my soul.

We will be worshipping with this song in the new series starting on May 17th "GOD'S NOT FAIR, GET USE TO IT" and my prayer is that as we worship together that we will fall deeper in love with Jesus or even fall in love with Jesus for the very first time. My prayer is that we will all come to a full understanding that when life fails us (and it will) and when life isn't fair (and it isn't) and when life pretty much sucks (and alot of times it does) - it will be ok cause we have HIS BLOOD RUNNING THROUGH OUR VAINS - and because of HIS Amazing Grace we will survive...
God's Grace is sufficient!
