What a miraculous weekend! As the weekend approached I have to admit I wasn't sure how the celebrations would unfold. We were tapping into unknown territory and being obedient to the call of God to have a healing service. I can honestly say that Saturday Night at the Corner will go down in history as one of my favorite celebrations. And today well definitely the longest worship set I have ever led. I thank God for a band that is willing to stay the course and lead the way no matter what or no matter how long that might become. I am pretty sure at one point today we played continuos for 50 minutes. I know 2 guitarist who may need healing themselves for their hands tomorrow morning. It has been years since I pulled out the song "What The Lord Has Done In Me" after deciding a few weeks ago to use this song to start the healing service I could not wait to lead that song and wow was God all over Cobblestone this week. Take a look at the words to this phenomenal song
Verse 1
Let the weak say I am strong
Let the poor say I am rich
Let the blind say I can see
It's what the Lord has done in me
Verse 2
Into the river I will wade
There my sins are washed away
From the heaven's mercy stream
Of the Saviour's love for me
Verse 3
I will rise from waters deep
Into the saving arms of God
I will sing salvation songs
Jesus Christ has set me free
Hosanna hosanna
To the Lamb that was slain
Hosanna hosanna
Jesus died and rose again
Need I say more. Only time will tell how many souls, spirits, bodies were healed this weekend. I thank God that I got to be a part of such a wonderful move of the Savior. I thank God for pastors that are willing to get out of the box and out of their comfort zone and take some risk. I thank God for the Godly woman that brought the messages and lead the way for the healing services this weekend, and I thank God for my band Under Cover who played with total abandonment for the King.
So all I can say is "Let the Healing begin"....til another time - be sure "living the life" is all for HIM!

I would pray for everyone to participate in a celebration such as this, with an open heart, and not filled with any reservations...His presence was felt...and many eyes I am sure were opened to His magnificent healing power...and thank you "lil texas" for allowing me to accompany you on that journey..I consider it honor and a privilege to play for our King, in your band....
Its been along time sense I have heard this song, what a great song for healing.
How long does it take for healing to come into ones life? Healing from hurts, abandonment, I keep wondering what does this verse really mean Ephesians 3:21 forgivng one another just as God also forgave you in Christ.
Thought maybe you could answer this for me.
Hey Forgiven how about you email me at sharla@cobblestonechurch.com and maybe we can come up with an answer together, beings I struggle with the same question...Under His Cover - sharla
